The Old Market Assembly is excited to announce a brand new drag night for Bristol.

Category is… is a night dedicated to showcasing all the styles and veristility the British & European drag scenes have to offfer. Along with our fabulous host Alyssa Van Delle, we will be opening our doors & celebrating the wonderful world of drag in all it’s forms, with the theme changing each event to keep you guessing!

Our first event is on Saturday 18th November, we may be a little late celebrating Halloween, but we’ve always got time for some witchy action and with this line up, oh honey!, hooonneeey! Hubble Bubble you’re in trouble!

Meth has stormed the UK drag scene and has earned her infamous reputation, with the kind of drag that is as bizarre as it is beautiful. As a member of the gender bending queer performance collective ‘The Family Fierce’ you can expect a performance you won’t quickly forget.
Remember kid’s drugs are bad …Don’t do drugs, do meth!

Lydia L’Scabies
The queen flea of Brighton herself, Lydia is known to terrify and delight in equal measure. Her originality is what makes her stand out in the UK drag scene creating satirical and varied characters that take influence from the ridiculous fakery of generation Instagram. You are bound to get infected with the L’Scabies bug after seeing this queen.

Melissa Bianchini
Get in formation and get ready to fall for this Italian queen Bey. Known all over Italy for her incredible Beyonce impersonation as well as striking looks, she is guaranteed to bring the house down and slay!

And our host Alyssa Van Delle
Bristol’s very own Pastatute, Alyssa van Delle will be putting some order to proceedings with her own brand of Italian charm. You can expect belly laughs and glamour when this queen takes to our stage and maybe even something unexpectedly spooky as she welcomes you into the coven.

We will have delicious drink offers, delectable dancers and some daring DJ’s too, so keep your eye on the event page for more announcements.
